Responsibilities:
Align with Patient first policy of the clinic Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner Maintain professional, flexible and helpful demeanor towards patient and staff Scheduling patient appointments to optimize the clinic resources Obtain and enter patient information, in-take paperwork, etc.
in EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software Carry out general office duties include checking patients in or out, scanning, faxing, emailing, uploading documents Verify patient insurance, and inform patients about the copays Collect and post copays, and verify end of the day balances Manage incoming and outgoing referrals Answer phone calls and provide requested details Send reminders to patients for follow up visits Maintain office, especially the waiting and reception area clean and organized Carry out miscellaneous clinic work Job Requirements:
Professional and compassionate about patient care Basic computer skill Prior experience as a medical office receptionist is highly desirable Good communication skills Excellent phone etiquette Previous experience with EMR software is a plus Bilingual is a plus Work under limited supervision Team player Job Type:
